Illuminated medieval drop capitals

This alphabet of illuminated initials is based on the sets found in books such as Historia Romana, Tabulae astronomicae, Demutatione aeris.

Incunabula I found were printed by the printer Erhard Ratdolt, one of the best publishers of scientific texts in the 15th century in Venice.

Illuminated capitals font family has Regular and Light, Colored and BW styles. Use this font as a decorative element at the beginning of a paragraph or section, other part of the paragraph should be in regular blackletter font.
